Ed Farm is rethinking what education can be.
As a nonprofit expanding access to technology and digital skills, they partner with schools and communities to create spaces where students learn by doing.
Across an ongoing partnership, we’ve supported multiple projects that start with a traditional library. The goal is not to replace it, but to evolve it into something more dynamic.

At The Huddle and The STEAM Engine, that transformation comes to life in different ways. Makerspaces sit alongside bookshelves. Students move between podcast studios, 3D printers, screen printing stations, and green screen setups. It is still a place for reading and research, now expanded to include hands-on creation.

“When I met Greg, and then shortly thereafter, Shayna, I knew that I was communicating with two highly empathetic, intellectually intelligent people, who have been doing this a long time – and who really understood the deep human needs we were attempting to fill.”
— DANIEL WHITT, HEAD OF LEARNING SPACES, ED FARM
Flexibility is built in. Open areas support collaboration, while smaller zones allow for focus. Furniture and layout adapt easily, keeping pace with how students and educators use the space throughout the day.

Technology is integrated in a way that feels natural. Tools, power, and connectivity are accessible without getting in the way, supporting learning instead of distracting from it.
It is still a library. Just one that looks a lot more like the future.
