Every great project is built on a series of recommendations.
For architects and designers, those recommendations are part of the job every day. Which product is right for the application? Is there a better alternative? How will it actually perform once it’s in the space?
And even if you’re not a designer, those decisions ultimately shape how a space looks, feels, and performs for years to come.
The best recommendations come from more than product knowledge. They come from experience: seeing products in real environments, learning from past projects, staying connected with manufacturers, and collaborating closely throughout the design process.
To explore that idea, we sat down with Tracy Engels of ASD|SKY and members of the ORI team during the Bank Independent Team Campus project. In just one minute, they share how experience, collaboration, and continuous learning lead to better recommendations and better spaces.

Whether you’re evaluating products, exploring new manufacturers, or planning your next project, the right recommendation can make all the difference.
At ORI, we believe our role is to bring ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and help you find solutions that support your vision.
