General Responsibilities
The Installer is responsible for executing and completing the delivery, installation, and service of systems and conventional furniture—striving to exceed customer expectations on every job.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow ORI’s dress code and conduct policies while on the job site
- Carefully load and unload trucks to ensure safe, damage-free delivery
- Use delivery tickets to verify all product is listed, loaded, and accounted for
- Ensure service carts (vacuum, cleaning supplies, toggles, hardware, etc.) are brought to each job site
- Operate company vehicles safely and clean them out at the end of each shift
- Maintain professionalism at all times in the presence of customers
- Execute all phases of delivery, service orders, installations, and projects as directed by the lead installer or project manager
- Perform final adjustments, cleaning, and touch-up to ensure a “no punch” job before leaving a site
- Report damages, omissions, or concerns using the CAR form, and follow punch list procedures as directed
- Provide support and mentorship to new employees as needed
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
Physical Demands
- Regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs
