Occupancy Planner / Interior Designer

This successful candidate will be expected to work off site with our customer contacts as well as internal team members to provide effective occupancy planning throughout the real estate portfolio. Duties will include but are not limited to occupancy reviews and verification of work spaces via physical walk throughs. The electronic updating and managing of existing floor plans within the portfolio as well as executing move, add and change requests per established protocols. Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to key stake holders including leaders within the company. Some of the tasks associated with this position include entering key data into management software suites, generating and/or coordinating conceptual sketches, schematic furniture plans, 3D renderings, product specifications, installation drawings, and finish selections; using industry standard software to perform all work.
•Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) focusing on Interior Design
•1-5 years of professional experience within the contract furniture industry or A&D industry
•Proficiency using AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, and Adobe Acrobat
•Preferred experience using Configura CET, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
•NCIDQ and KYCID certification is preferred

•Interest in working with finish materials
•Ability to field verify project sites (i.e. field measure, product inventory, etc.)
•Prior dealership experience a plus
