General Responsibilities

The Project Manager serves as a single point of contact for all aspects of assigned projects—from inception through final closeout and invoicing. This role plans, coordinates, and oversees all project tasks, critical dates, client and third-party communication, quality, budget, and overall satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate scope of projects and prepare labor quotes
  • Complete labor quote forms and Solomon Coyle worksheets for bid projects
  • Set up orders before placement (MTT, reservations, color coding, etc.)
  • Assist design, sales, and project coordinators to ensure accurate and complete specifications
  • Manage order dates and deadlines using Hedberg (Internal Status and Customer Order Status reports)
  • Attend construction and move meetings; share key communications internally
  • Prepare install packages and coordinate schedules with internal teams and external partners
  • Track multiple projects to ensure on-time, accurate, and cost-effective completion
  • Schedule and lead pre-install meetings with full documentation
  • Conduct site visits to assess readiness for installation
  • Perform walk-throughs with Lead Installer to identify CAR/punch items
  • Lead final walk-through with client for punch list review and project closure
  • Identify and communicate additional billing opportunities (e.g., scope changes, storage)
  • Monitor and stay aligned with project budgets and goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong customer service focus and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
